OKAYSO. First more LARP stories - Jon once turned up to a long running Vampire: The Masquerade larp as Dave, the Vampire. He was entirely competent, and a useful ally to have (yadda yadda) he was also the most generic person Jon could design, from whatever part of London he grew up in. ALSO. My original point. So. Brujah. In VtM there’s a clan of Vampires called the Brujah, and they’re the anti-establishment, rebellion-for-the-sake of rebellion guys. Naturally, they run all the criminal gangs. And this was back in the early 90′s, and written by a bunch of Nerds. So their gang-leader’s this musclebound biker (who, now I think about it, looks like a walking gay stereotype, but w/e). But that’s not what gangs seem to be like anymore, especially in the UK. So I’ve always wanted to play this gang mastermind Brujah of Influence, who’s a pasty, tracksuit-tucked-into-his-socks, acne-ridden chav, who rides around on the back of his mate’s shitty stolen bike, and threatens to spark the Prince out.
First– I love the concept of Dave that is fantastic
SECOND GIVE ME MORE TOM OF FINLAND BIKER VAMPIRES SHIT
SHIT
I NEED THAT
WHY WAS I NOT INFORMED ABOUT TOM OF FINLAND BIKER VAMPIRES
SO I GAVE STEVEN UNIVERSE ANOTHER GO. And yeah, looks like the first episode was bad to judge on - they spend a lot of time going "these are what the characters are like" and not much else. It's infodumping, so can't just tell the story it wants up. Up to like... 20-something and it's excellent. Just had the Lapis Lazuli episodes.
NICE. The Lapis Lazuli episodes are great, gosh. GOSH. Like each episode seriously has me going “what’s next?” even with small questions I feel, like it’s a subtle world build, but the Lapis Lazuil ones were major game changers because she was like the first other gem we met. GOOD EPS. I’m glad you like the show! I am glad that my tumblr hasn’t overexposed or overhyped it too much because that’s a serious worry I have!

The lighting in the place was not great but WE TRIED
I have a somewhat close-up pic I tried to take in better lighting:
EEEHHHHHH you can tell the scarf is light pink and not white like my blouse???
BUT YEAH STILL LOTS OF FUN
coggirl burgerthief Seriously though you two need to read the latest Emily Carroll comic, it's fantastic
Minor edit: On her twitter she linked to this saying this is where she got the title from, you'd both find it of interest I'm sure

I've just started another playthough on Hard. But might start again on Normal. Because the challenge is fun and all, but I 90% play it for the mood. And that's hampered from dying all the damn time...
I play games to relax so I pretty much play on Normal or Casual/Easy unless I think that's too easy or there's some reason I'm going for a challenge. And yeah BioShock I definitely play for the atmosphere because it's just so damned beautiful ugh the aesthetics of that game are fantastic
