Tell the Truth - Siv & Lyla (m!a)
What a strange day.
Something took hold of him earlier in the day, a strange feeling he rarely had and one he tried to force himself not to acknowledge at all. It was strange to feel the urge to actually speak to other people, let alone share anything personal with them. He tended to remain a very withdrawn sort of man, simply because he didn't give enough of a shit to actually supply people with information about himself.
His shift came and went without much incident. Fortunately, the nature of his job didn't force him to converse with many people. He watched the door to the corridor of dressing rooms and the extent of his chronic honesty for the night was telling every man who approached said door exactly how many ways he would hurt them if they ventured any further. A couple were unhappy with him, sure, but most just backed away slowly and returned to their seats, not eager enough for a closer look at their favorite dancer to chance disembowelment after the removal of their testicles.
The bartender had left since but Siv poured himself a drink and sat at the bar anyway, quietly pleased to actually be alone with his odd and off putting thoughts. Little did he know he was not alone at all, and when he heard a set of footsteps, he grunted, "We're closed," grumpily into the dark.
