…as I sit on the ground my back against the seat of a park bench, the bottoms of me feet together and pulled as close to my body as possible…munching an apple… watching the heads and shoulders of a volleyball team as the bobbed up and down like a sine wave on the beach just the other side of a stone wall. I hardly notice the the bicyclist as he passes by. - September 2016 - Chicago, IL
