The knight stood alone amidst the raging inferno, surrounded by towering trees engulfed in flames. His dark silhouette was a stark contrast against the swirling reds, oranges and golds that painted the apocalyptic scene. Embers danced through the smoky air as the relentless blaze consumed everything in its path. Yet the brave knight remained resolute, his sword at the ready, prepared to face whatever challenges emerged from the hellish landscape. In this moment of destruction and chaos, he embodied unwavering courage in the face of overwhelming adversity.

These were a series of artworks that I made for a project for school years ago. I was trying to make them each represent one of the four elements. These were all done with oil pastels on colored paper and I tried to put a figure of a woman in each of them to tie them together. The last work is air and and I took some inspiration from Colors of the Wind from Pocahontas.
