yes!!! she went after Clive specifically bc she fights for the underdog; that was how she took out her frustration when she was stuck back in Annville where everyone was judging her and she hated the whole system, and the minute she thought she hurt an innocent person (Cassidy) she felt horrible. Ruth described her as a “leveller” last year and I have to say I agree; she has a code that I honestly think is more developed than Jesse’s. the difference between her code and Jesse’s is that hers allows for shades of gray - with Jesse it’s always everything is one thing or the other, clear-cut and black and white. but for Tulip, there are no good guys or bad guys most of the time - like she told Jesse as early as episode 3 last year, “there’s just guys.” but fundamentally, fairness and justice are very important to her, as she’s been denied both for most of her life. as someone who’s never existed in society’s good graces, she utilizes self-help to even the odds for herself and others where she can.
