Her eyes flicked up at him, and then away, dismissively. “How’s it going? It’s been, what, weeks? Since the swimming pool? You’re looking fit. How’s the husband? Kid?” Her gaze swung back to him, bright and threatening. “It’s, uhh, Daniel, right? Cute, very cute.”

appearing human isn’t something he can achieve. he always stands out, be it for his skin color, his eyes, ears, face marks and his tail. while proud of every part of his body, it’s easy to feel vulnerable with the gaze of everyone upon him. he watches the human before teleporting behind the other, hanging by the ceiling, feet holding him tight to the pipes and his tail wrapped around him, as if protecting kurt from lingering gazes. “ya, you are staring too much, sir. but the only one who can judge us is GOD himself.”
