What do you think about how tashiro got close with shirahama in the first place... how did that happen. Why did it happen

okay piggybacking off my last post. i think Tashiro is the kinda guy who cant leave people alone. AND VERY IMPORTANTLY WE HAVE TO IMAGINE UNDYED HAIR TASHIRO. his hair is FULL BROWN in middle school. very important we all imagine this together. also Hi burry thanks for coming to my ted talk. im already in business mode. :)

SO imagine youre in middle school. and you like video games. at lunch you see another guy playing a game all by his lonesome and God Forbid you let a guy game alone. so you strike up a conversation and you may or may not know the game Doesn't matter. this guy seems kinda down on the outside but you can tell he's got a lot of passion built up inside. not necessarily bottled--he doesn't hide it on purpose. anyways. this guy--shirahama--kinda sucks ass at this game. he's doing it all wrong. you give some pointers and tips and hes finally making progress again. it all goes well enough that you keep talking to him. and keep talking to him. and keep talking to him. and he talks to you too, dont worry. and thats how you get a best friend.

all that to say--i don't think their meeting was that grandiose. i do think Tashiro was kinda drawn to him. like. look at shirahama. guy begging to be analyzed. anyways. i think they go over to each others houses a lot, especially in middle school, play games and agonize over homework and roughhouse a little too rough. and their parents treat each other like part of the family. that kinda thing. anyways. peace and love on planet shirashiro.:)

So i was on a mini vacation with my family recently and went into this house of mirrors with my sister with almost no expectations and it was actually so trippy and difficult. It was dark af and the lights would occasionally go out too 😭 the whole thing was feeling your way around with a pair of gloves while circus music blared overhead and echoed and the lights were low and changing colors and you could barely hear each other until the music died when the lights cut. If you dont stick together you almost immediately lose each other...

And of course since I am Normal I think about my favs doing the same for funsies so I was like. How would ssmyhrkgverse characters go about such a maze. We've seen some of them go through those haunted house things but you just walk and get scared (or not). Mirror maze forces you to ACT and THINK. Like obviously i can put the couples together but i also think about random or just different groups or pairs. Like if kagibashi go in there together they are NOT coming out for a while 😭 hirazawa might be out within ten minutes. Sasaogaeimi constantly arguing "we just came from there!" "No we didn't!" Things like that. I wonder what diff combinations of characters would do 🤓🤓 Very silly but something to ponder

Houses of mirrors are one of those things that's like "no problem I did that as a kid" and you forget how genuinely disorienting it is!!! I feel like the older you are the more horror stories you've heard, too, so there's more scary possibilities in your head 😭

KAGIBASHI ARE NOOOOT MAKING IT OUT ALIVE they would be lost in there for so long I know this in my heart. Niibashi going in with anyone else is actually relatively fine, but we know Kagiura gets scared in haunted house things, and while Niibashi is good at handling Kagiura's love woes, idk how good he'd be at dealing with Kagiura just screaming lmaooooo. Niibashi is coming out of this with bruises from Kagiura and his stupid athlete strength gripping his arm so hard

hirazawaaaaa, bestiiiieeeees, they're literally fine. If Hanzawa were, like, 9% less fun-loving, he'd get overly introspective about the mirrors and reflection of it all, but he's honestly busy thinking about what a good job the makers of this thing did. Hirano is similarly able to pretty straightforwardly enjoy these kinds of games, I think, though the overstimulation of it all might grate on him eventually.

CHILDHOOD FRIEND TRIO YESSSSSS. Sasaki wants to know why he's here and not with Miyano. Other people can hear them arguing. Ogasawara runs into a wall 4757 times. No one helps him. They complain so much, but they would still go in again at the next festival/carnival/whatever this is

Just for fun, what if Miyano + Shirahama. They're moving through it pretty steadily, reasonably careful about how they move, but also Shirahama is 50 feet deep in his head about how Miyano should be in here with Sasaki and how date-like this is (and maybe also a little freaked out because he played a visual novel mystery where somebody was murdered in a fun house kind of thing), so he DOES run into walls 754 times until Miyano literally has to grab his arm. This is physically helping, but the emotional damage. Shirahama is so, so tired by the time they get out

I love this 'cause I've literally all day been off and on thinking about like. Who protects who in different situations, yknow? I mean I'm always thinking about that. v fun to think about. Like Kagiura is objectively the strongest, physically, but he's a big baby emotionally. Uno reverse from Miyano who physically has some of the slowest reaction times, no real strength or dexterity, BUT he's pretty good at keeping his head. Hanzawa is smart, but he also enjoys games waayyy too much to actually be helpful if it's a non-emergency situation. Hirano is happy to play along with a game, but if it comes down to it, he'll brute force his way through a wall if he has to. Sasaki has crazy Protect Myaa-chan instincts, but everyone else can get stuffed (until it's a real emergency and then I think he'd tank any damage, and I neeeeeeed people to yell at him about that later, do you think it's okay just because you're the one getting hurt). Also, he has the immediate protect instinct, but Miyano is quicker at thinking up solutions, I think. Sasaki ain't getting out of the fun house very fast on his own. Ogasawara on his own might need to be rescued.

Tashiro COULD make it through in record time, but he doesn't WANT to. Where's the fun in that? He's hollering over the music at whoever he's in there with, somehow barely running into any walls even though he doesn't LOOK like he's being particularly careful.

goddd shoutai is the song of all time for the event of all time, nocturnality. just a gay vampire story played completely sincere and it affects me so bad. the way it interplays off azuma & tasuku’s own histories? immaculate. and the fact that the characters duet the lines about blood drinking even though only one of them is a vampire… it’s like he’s begging to be turned.
