what I’m reading (books): just started on the ramayana. trying to read it w/ a friend so I’m excited.
what I’m listening to: Summertime by My Chemical Romance. I adore this song so much and the deluxe remaster of danger days has made me just fall more in love.
what I’m watching: I’m still somewhere on s7 of psych. currently following canada’s drag race all stars week by week though. wtf were those bottom placements last week…
what I’m eating: just had oatmeal which is my classic work breakfast bc it’s nice and filling.
what I’m working on: two zine pieces, but the chief of it all is the ssmyhrkg mini bang piece. also demolishing the fairy tail ao3 archive. I am so close to being done with that.
what I’m doing to touch grass: pacing around my office building in the few moments it’s not actively raining.

One of the benefits of watching psych (2006) is that in most shows with a weird protagonist you find yourself asking why are you like this but in psych you don't do that because you just saw. You just saw 10 minutes ago at the start of the episode when Henry was putting him in a trunk

You’re right. How could I forget to credit anime for its role in putting the special character in the secret torture facility (for science).
Genuine question: Isn't this just Bond villainy and/or medieval torture dungeon? Or what kind of facility are we talking about?
The Facility is a critically important part here. See it’s a Science Facility. It’s run by a very shady clandestine organization, which is incredibly powerful. They’re maybe part of the government, or if not the government then something Illuminati-like.
As such The Facility is very high tech, and likely buried underground or hidden somewhere no normal person can access. The Torture being done is for Science, which the Facility is for. It’s all scientists in lab coats doing the torture. There is so much lab equipment and probably a lot of devices hooked up to the special character which will beep and go off the charts when the special character has a violent mind explosion. This part is important.
