Hi! This is one of my favorite strange niche animals, the rondo dwarf galago!
They live in only a couple tiny parts of Tanzania, and are unfortunately very endangered
There are multiple Galagos, but this one is the smallest, about as big as a tennis ball!
They mostly eat insects, but they also eat fruit and nectar, and the use rhythmic and musical calls to communicate.
Very cool! I made a post about the Southern Lesser Galago here, but these guys are very cute!

The Troubleneck Brothers: “Back To The Hip-Hop” b/w “Pure” (1994)
What happened, really? They made a debut album that was never released by their label but only a handful of singles and videos of theirs are out there. No surprise that they’ve become a permanent footnote in hip-hop history. If you weren’t there to catch them as they blew up, you did so later on. I discovered them way after my Brentwood-era when golden-era hip-hop was everything and found a new era of white-label goods in the process. Could you imagine if they had the chance that they truly deserved for radio airplay with something like “Back To The Hip-Hop”? This would’ve been great if they were really put on display with the likes of Da Youngstas, The Bushbabies, Group Home and so on. It’s a memory now, and the chants of “yes yes y’all” at the end of their video feels like one of their greatest moments of their lives.
Ethel Beatty’s “It’s Your Love” (‘81) is the major sample for the single version along with Q-Tip’s vocal sample from A Tribe Called Quest’s “Check The Rhyme” (‘91) and Spoonie G’s “Spoonin’ Rap” (‘79). Their classic appreciation remix also hat-tips James Brown, Boogie Down Productions, The Mohawks, Eric B. & Rakim, The Honey Drippers, Ultramagnetic MC’s, MC Shan, Biz Markie, Doug E. Fresh & Slick Rick. Damn.
The Giant Bushbaby is a larger than normal Bushbaby said to be found in Africa. The Giant Bushbaby is said to be larger than a mormal Bushbaby coming in at around 15 inches long which is the size of a cat while the normal Bushbaby is only 6.5 inches long. Much like normal Bushbabies, the Giant Bushbaby is said to be covered in white and gray fluffly fur with small ears and big eyes. It is believed that this unknown Giant Bushbaby could be a new undiscovered subspecies of the Bushbaby family.
Some PSA
Gentle reminder that Jordan has said on several occasions that galagos, aka bushbabies, are his favorite animal and I don't know why, but I appreciate it.
