Woke with an early start. There is a group coming through later to inspect the house as potential buyers. Went through with a quick sweep, vacuum, and mop and all was ready. Set myself up in the back patio and then had breakfast. While working on my project the buyers arrived, so I continued to work and after an hour they left. I then surveyed the garden to see where the work should commence…

Work in Progress: Over the weekend first street art mural took shape for the Small Bird Habitat project. Our Guest Artist being @badmagpies’ Karen Farmer who composed the beautiful warbling magpies arrangement to reflect and enhance the ecological restoration of the original Riverflat Eucalyptus Forest at Gallery Gardens. How to get excited by a new post+rail fence...! for an official #BeforeShot we checked out The ingenious #fencework that Council has built to expand #bushcare of the #endangeredecologicalcommunity at #GalleryGardens in #OldToongabbie. The area of #remnant #cabbagegum or #eucalyptusamplifolia has a rich #groundcover of #indigenousgrasses and herbs that need a lot of weeding during spring. We hope to boost the #smallbirdhabitat opportunities here and remove the #exoticgrass such as #ehrhartaerecta - and present a #featurelawn of the #nativegrassesofparramatta, including #paspalidium_albovillosum which a flat blue-purple grass and others that #finch and #grassparrots would graze on.
