I love seeing this spike in Among Us content because of the series, but allow me to take this as an opportunity to indoctrinate some of y'all into the Rodamrix Among Us fandom.
Pls watch their series, it's genuinely amazing and has a legitimate plot. It started out as a shitpost, then kinda snowballed into peak cinema. It's also kinda two series at once because at some point people wondered what would've happened if different people died in the first ep and Roda went, "Bet." and started a whole ass alternate timeline where the deaths in the first episode got swapped. So they're kinda working on two series at once and both are great. (And afaik, they're a lone animator working on this, please go support them!!)
Oh, and there's also another Among Us series that's relatively new called Remnant by Flash In Rahul, and it's currently on episode three, with the fourth dropping on the 20th. It's pretty good so far, give it a watch.
Massive stars in our Milky Way Galaxy live spectacular lives. Collapsing from vast cosmic clouds, their nuclear centres ignite and create heavy elements in their cores. After only a few million years (for the most massive stars), the material is blasted back into interstellar space where star formation can begin again.
This expanding debris cloud known as Cassiopeia A is an example of this final phase of the stellar life cycle. Light from the supernova explosion that created this remnant would have been first seen in planet Earth's sky about 350 years ago, although it took that light 11,000 years to reach us. This sharp image from the James Webb Space Telescope shows the still-hot filaments and knots in the supernova remnant. The whitish, smoke-like outer shell of the expanding blast wave is about 20 light-years across. A series of light echoes from the massive star's cataclysmic explosion are also identified in Webb's detailed images of the surrounding interstellar medium.

Among Us show so good I binged both Rodamrix and Remnant in the same day (help me).
Yellow: You wanna show me your new friends, Baby? Oh good Lord.
What do you mean Rodamrix is created by one person, and it is genuinely so cleanly animated and actively coming out? What do you mean Remnant is also probably made by one person and still actively in production and the next episode is coming out on the 18th? I have been SLEEPING on Among Us gems dude.
And since I'm a self-centered chud, I drew their little baby amonglings with my three personal amonglings.
Isn't it beautiful to see Bismuth interacting with kids their "age"?
Ok, so for people in the no-know, the order of the babies is Bismuth (polyskeld fankid), Amber (my own story), Mini Blue (Remnant), Gold (my own story), Glitch.Y (Rodamrix), and Navy (Rodamrix).
I love how (sometimes) over half of the kids are imposter-like in nature, while the others are just regular babies. All of them are kinda traumatized tho, and a good amount of them have watched their parents get almost fatally injured or just straight up die. Good times we're living in, mental anguish builds character.
I have more doodles below the cut, but some of them are leaning in waaaaaay more into the horror so check yourselves:
SO, like I said earlier, I'm self-centered, so I'm going to make self-centered oc content over fanart sorry guys, it has to happen.
Bismuth is a freak in all regards even to the average imposter. Since they are a pure shapeshifter, they maintain all of their alien biology, even the really gross parts, much to the other sprouts' discomfort. However, most of these imposters have been dubbed by me as "New Age Imposters" meaning they are hybrids who have both crewmate and "imposter" blood, or they were converted into imposters but still are fundamentally built like crewmates.
None of them have seen a "friendly" pure-blooded imposter, so hostility is very valid (especially with all the shit these guys go through).
And that makes sense, considering this is how Bismuth looks when they're not copying the people around them.
It only looks grosser when they get older don't worry.
I looove horror, expect more body horror mueheheheeeee. Have a good one gangalang.
she should have been free and rolling around in the dirt but unfortunately the universe had other plans and decided to make her witness horrors and agony beyond her comprehension
hey guys. Yap time because I’m on vacation and I should be doing homework but NAHHHH 🗣️‼️ WE BALL
Contrary to the Claudya imagery I did want to talk about remnant and shit because it??? Is the same but not in my AU??? I still don’t quite grasp how remnant works in the actual canon universe, so I changed up some rules n shit for both horror purposes and to help make stuff make sense. Idk. It might not. We’ll see.
I’ve talked about it a little bit before, but the REAL driving force for SIRIU’s paranormal activities is really just agony or any super extreme emotion. Remnant isn’t really “present” in this universe, but rather a concept William coined thinking he could somehow encapsulate and conquer death in a way he could understand. His ego makes it so that he is unable to realize that it is not something his “genius” can comprehend—he is essentially just a boy thinking he’s playing god to an unstoppable, unknowable force. This, however, obviously makes him no less dangerous to the people around him. It just makes him REALLY susceptible to getting ratio’d by a bunch of ghosts
There are some vague rules to the paranormal, of course. The experience of agony can affect the living and the dying. I’ll sort of separate them into categories so I don’t just spew out jumbled word vomit.
How agony affects the living:
This is probably the easiest to describe, as it’s the one I have to think about the most when writing for my OC’s (especially Claudya!!). Because agony is a human emotion/state, it obviously affects people like how it does you and I in the real world. However, the paranormal element comes in when ENORMOUS amounts of agony are created at once. It permeates the air, and can essentially make it so in rare cases a living person can see the dead. This can happen with many negative emotions, but agony is the most common vessel that allows this to happen. It is more common in children than adults, as children’s minds are still developing and even in the real world still have a strange perception for the paranormal.
Though the ability to see ghosts is usually short-lived as a person heals from the event, the problem arises when the trauma is left untreated and the agony CONTINUES to accumulate and causes a person to spiral. While most spirits are neutral and some even benevolent, agony has a tendency to attract dead folk who are in perpetual states of rage, desperation, etc. This can lead to a person being a prime target for malevolent or violent spirits who may want to harm or use them in a desperate attempt to move on to the afterlife or for other purposes. Such is the case for characters like Michael, Josephine, and Claudya.
How agony affects the dying/dead:
I hope it’s obvious that dying isn’t fun. Agony has a tendency to accumulate in large amounts when someone is dying, ESPECIALLY if they’re being MURDERED. Ghosts are obviously created from this process, unable to move on until they are relieved from their perpetual state of pain and emotion. Not every spirit is necessarily angry, but are obviously very volatile because—well—I’d be pretty unstable too if some old ass bitch murdered me pretending to be his fursona.
Similar to the living, agony can continuously accumulate if a spirit is not dealt with. This can make particularly violent spirits like Cassidy very, very powerful. It’s unclear to what extent her power reaches.
sorry for the yapping guys. None of this shit probably made any sense but oh well. I needed to yap
