What Feels Small Now Won’t Stay Small
There’s a tendency to measure importance by size.
If something feels small, it doesn’t get priority.
That’s natural.
But in high-risk businesses, size isn’t what matters.
Repetition is.
A small issue repeated enough times becomes a big problem.
That’s the part that’s easy to overlook.
Because you’re evaluating each instance individually.
Instead of looking at the frequency.
That’s where things go wrong.
Now I ask a different question.
Not “how big is this issue?”
But “how often is this happening?”
Because frequency is what turns small problems into real risk.
And once something becomes frequent, it’s already influencing your system.
That’s when control starts slipping.
