Tomorrow is the 125th anniversary of buster Keaton’s birth
Buster was more than a stone face, back then he made a name for himself as child, partaking in his family’s vaudeville act: the three Keatons. There happens to be a comic book character named after him (Buster Brown) really that happened. He fought in ww1 where he lost the hearing from one of his ears and he entertained troops while they were awaiting order to get home after the armistice has signed. His first short he directed (roscoe Arbuckle’s the rough house) has the commissioner called the cops for duty jump cuts had to be used when the cops appear and disappear on thin air instead of them simply walking in. Its someones birthday, today! Buster turned 5 today. I have to say i love my handsome boy. He sticks to me like glue and when im literally down, hes determined to get me up. Hes sleeps so close and hogs the bed...his warm reassuring my protector is close. Hes loving and funny and powerful to boot.! Thank you for being a part of our lives buster!
