Trials and tribulations of DIY. I was tired of having a white bust form. I found it difficult to take photos in certain lighting conditions because suit jackets are often in dark shades and the white bust form would reflect way more light than the garment causes issues with exposure. Yesterday I decided to paint it back using fabric specific spray paint. To my dismay the paint did not adhere well and black specs easily rubbed of the cotton muslin. Instead I decided distress the fabric using hot soapy water and steel wool removing any paint debris that could rub off the cloth. Now it looks more like faded black denim which I was presently surprised with. I actually like it more than I thought i might.
