Sing Week 2017 Day 2: Ships

I don’t really have the time to draw art or make a fanfic for my ships, and I really like all ships (as long as it isn’t adult-child ones), so I’ll list small headcanons for each ship I like!

•Poly-teens: Triple spooners whenever they’re sleepy together (large->small spoons relative to their size).

•Buster X Rosita: The way Rosita found out that Buster had a crush on her was when her kids stole his notebook and showed her a page that was filled with tiny doodles of her smiling and heart symbols. Buster then hid in his office for about a week after that, but when he emerged he asked her out for a date and Rosita accepted.

•Buster X Eddie: Has a movie night once a week and alternate for who chooses the movie. Buster chooses romantic comedy and drama while Eddie chooses sci-fi and fantasy. They both call each other’s tastes cheesy, but they still love all of the movies they rent.

•Buster X Mike: Mike always gets flustered and angry whenever his relationship with Buster is brought up in a conversation (in any way), and if Buster is present he will taunt/flirt with Mike just to play with him and get him even more embarrassed.

•Mike X Nancy: Soon after the movie when the Moon Theater reopened, Nancy joined Mike and they do duo performances often. If one mouse is singing a song on stage, the other is garunteed to be singing along right by their side.

•Jude (my OC) X Meena: If the two are on the couch together at night and Jude gets sleepy, they will always use Meena as their pillow (sometimes they’ll even call her “my favorite pillow). Meena has accidentally done the same, but Jude tries their hardest to not wake her up and stays where they are.

•Johnny X Ash: Often holds harmless prank wars on each other. One of their best pranks on each other was when Ash replaces Johnny’s shampoo with orange fur-dye and when Johnny but food on Ash’s quills while she was sleeping.

10 Reasons to Ship Bustike

     1. Buster totally has a lowkey man-crush on Mike. No one can convince me otherwise. Even though Mike is canonically with Nancy, it makes the soft pegging all the more satisfactory. 

     2. When Buster first heard Mike sing, the official script declared that Buster’s immediate thought was  ‘ this one’s a keeper! ‘  ------ quickly forgetting what Mike had done to Meena that he showed a disapproval for beforehand.

     3. Mike was one of Buster’s immediate picks for his show, & there was never any doubt. Buster made it out to be that Mike’s participation in the show would benefit Buster more so than Mike, unlike how he treats it with everyone else that he chooses for the show.

     4. Buster lowered his moon down for Mike’s practice performance, while dancing to Mike’s singing with a big-ass grin on his face. I don’t know about you, but that’s adorable.

     5. When Mike got a new suit, Buster complimented him directly after saying that Nana was going to LOVE his performance. AKA, he’s totally flirting without realizing. & when Mike walks off the stage, he shows off his suit a little bit more.

     6. Buster picked Mike to be the first to sing for Nana. Probably because Buster was most impressed with Mike’s performances, & since he went to such big extremes to do all he could to impress Nana, it makes sense he’d put Mike on first.

     7. When the bears came in, Buster wasn’t all that concerned & was sassing both the bears & their  ‘ false assumption ‘  of the money, until Mike was shown to be choked & used to strike fear in Buster to give the bears the money. Which, of course, worked.

     8. We know Mike has a great sense of pride, but he still apologized to Buster for what happened. Even if it was for the chance of money. One way or another, Buster was quick to forgive him & happily allowed him on the show even after Mike laughed at the idea of  ‘ singing for yourselves. ‘ 

     9. Their dynamics is what makes a pairing interesting. There will be conflict. There could be a slow burn to it. Buster could help Mike open up & be a better mouse we, the audience, got a glimpse of at the end of the movie. & that would be adorable as heck. A short-tempered, egotistic mouse dealing with an optimistic theater owner? Count me in.

     10. Last, but by no means least ------ THAT HEIGHT DIFFERENCE THOUGH.
