10. Dyed your hair?

Many times and many different colours. I haven’t had my natural hair colour since I was 12.

11. Soup or salad?

It really depends on which kind of soup or salad is being offered! 

12. Vegetable or meat?

Hmm, that depends on what else I’ve eaten recently. If I haven’t eaten much meat, I’ll usually go with that for the protein and the iron. If my diet’s been lacking vegetables or if I just want a snack, I’ll go with those!

13. Go out drinking?

I haven’t done that in a while! Mostly because I’m poor, but also because I don’t really have any friends in real life to go out drinking with.

14. Smoke cigarettes?

I’ve never been a “smoker”, but I have had a couple at parties when I’ve been drinking and stuff like that. That’s super rare though. Like, maybe one a year. I do like clove cigarettes though, but they’re horrible for you. Even worse than normal cigarettes.

15. Smoke weed?

Nah. I’ve done it a few times before, but I generally don’t like the feeling. I either get super sleepy or really paranoid. Also, whenever I inhale I start coughing a lot and I can’t breathe properly after and have to drink a whole bunch of water. 

16. Do any hard drugs?

That depends on what you consider a hard drug. I’ve done stuff like acid, MDMA, and ecstasy and some prescription stuff, but I wouldn’t consider any of those hard drugs. I’ve never done cocaine or heroin and I plan on never doing meth.

17. Have you had sex today?

Nope. It’s been a while. 

18. Have you ever fallen asleep in someone’s arms?

Yup, I have. Sometimes it’s really nice, but other times I feel too constricted and have to wriggle free.

19. The relationship between you and the person you last texted?

We’re technically still just friends, but we have “a thing” going. I want to wait until we meet in real life before declaring anything, just in case he ends up not liking me.

20. Has anyone ever told you that you have pretty eyes?

That’s actually the compliment I get most often. Either that or comments about my mouth.

21. Skipped doing homework to play a video game?

Too many times. I was useless in school for the two weeks after Pokémon X came out.

Yes.

Yesterday afternoon/evening. My life’s an emotional rollercoaster!

Honestly, I don’t usually lie about how I’m feeling. I might not tell someone about it, but I generally won’t straight-up lie about it. This is how I make so many friends. >_>

25. Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend?

Technically, no.

26. Do you have long hair or short hair?

Long hair! It’s most of the way down my back now.

27. First thing you notice about a guy/girl?

This really depends on the person. Everyone seems to have a unique feature that stands out the most. It can be anything from someone’s complexion to their height to the way they walk.

28. Do you sing in the shower?

Generally, no. I have a horrendous singing voice and I live in an apartment building, so it would echo and other people would hear how terrible it is.

29. Do you dance in the car?

I wouldn’t really call it dancing. It’s more of a head bob.

30. Where were you yesterday?

I was in my statistics class and then I walked home to my apartment, talked over some stuff with my mom, cried a bunch and then I curled up in bed to hangout with ed-sandwich and ended up falling asleep until 11:30 PM.

31. Ever used a bow and arrow?

Yes! I love archery! I used to do it at this summer camp I went to a few times and my mom’s ex-boyfriend had some crossbows that he’d let me use sometimes. I’ve always wanted to get back into it because it was so much fun! I have no idea how I’d get into it though.

32. Last time you got a portrait taken by a photographer?

That would be when I got my graduation pictures done. They were awful. Yikes.

33. Do you think musicals are cheesy? 

I think that a lot of them are, but that they don’t necessarily have to be. Rent, Across the Universe, Sweeney Todd, and Phantom of the Opera are all good musicals that aren’t particularly lame.

34. Is Christmas stressful?

Honestly, it’s one of my least favourite times of the year, which is odd because I don’t even care about Christmas. The problem is that my mom does and, when I lived at home, she’s always be in a horrible mood and we’d fight even worse than we normally did at that time of year. This was the first time I lived on my own for Christmas, but it was still really weird and stressful because it was just a few weeks after my mom broke up with her very long-term boyfriend and kind of lost her shit (47 going on 16, if you catch my drift). I’m planning on just doing a full-blown Festivus celebration this year though.

35. Favourite type of fruit pie?

Pumpkin, lemon meringue, cherry, and strawberry rhubarb.

 36. Occupations you wanted when you were a kid?

Oh boy. My mom has a book where I’d write down everything I wanted to be each year and there are so many things. I wanted to be an archaeologist, a doctor, a teacher, an actor, an activist, a fiction writer, a gonzo journalist, a paleontologist, a philosopher, etc. Soooo many things.

37. Do you believe in ghosts?

Nope.

38. Ever have déjà-vu? 

Oh yes. Sometimes I get it for extended periods of time and it can be really unsettling. 

39. Take a vitamin daily?

I do not. Most of the time that’s pointless because your body doesn’t absorb them properly (calcium, omega 3-6-9, etc.). However, vitamin D is recommended for people living in my area due to the lack of sunlight. 

40. Wear slippers?

Yup! I have black boot ones with silver stars on them and I have Pikachu ones. 

41. Wear a bath robe?

Sometimes! I have a gray one with white spots, but I haven’t been wearing it lately because I’ve just been wearing a hoodie in the evenings instead.

42. What do you wear to bed?

When it’s colder out, I’ll wear pyjama pants and a shirt, but as it gets warmer, I’ll usually just wear underwear. Or nothing. I live on the edge.

43. Do you want to get married?

Yes, but just because I think it’d be really fun to have a huge celebration and wear a beautiful dress and everything. I don’t take marriage seriously enough to see it as being much more than that.

44. Can you curl your tongue?

I think so. 

45. How many relationships have you had?

Just one. It lasted four years.

47. What makes a great relationship?

Complete honesty and compassion. I’ve been in a relationship where compassion was lacking and it ended up becoming a situation where the other person never saw anything from my perspective and only focused on how they felt in a majority of situations. This led to the other person never being capable of understanding that some things were just misunderstandings or dumb mistakes and would end up accusing me of intentionally doing things to make them feel badly and for a long time I’d just give in and apologize. Not a great situation.

48. Shy or open?

It depends on the topic, the person I’m talking to and, even then, sometimes whether I’m open or shy is a complete toss-up. 

49. Religious or non-religious?

Non-religious.

50. Caring or non-restricting of you?

You don’t have to only have one or the other. You can care about someone a lot, but still accept that they need to make their own choices and their own mistakes.

51. Straight edge or non-straight edge?

Preferably not. I don’t normally do drugs and don’t drink all that often, but I haven’t sworn anything off and plan on doing things in the future and it’d be nice to have someone to do them with.

52. Piercings or no piercings?

I’m fine with either! I love piercings, but they’re not necessary. Honestly, I think there are some people who even look better without them. They do need to be able to tolerate being with someone who has piercings though, because I love mine and plan on getting a few more.

53. Tattoos or no tattoos?

I love tattoos if they’re done well. If someone’s clearly gone out and gotten tattoos from some basement scratcher for the lowest price possible, I’m probably not going to have a whole lot of respect for their decisions. However, if someone has clearly put some some effort into their choices and done a bit of research into the person they’re getting to do their tattoos, then I can appreciate that. Whether or not I actually like someone’s tattoos also really depends on the content. If you’ve got Tupac’s face tattooed onto your back, it might be very well done, but I’m not going to like it because I don’t like Tupac. Does that make sense?

I don’t have any tattoos myself though and, at this point, I don’t plan on getting any, so it’s not an issue if the other person dislikes them!

54. Quiet stay-at-home type or party type?

 Why not both? Sometimes I like staying home and curling up with Netflix or my 3DS and eating snacks with someone, but other days I want ridiculous, spontaneous adventures and meeting new weird and wonderful people.

Awful, I need to shower, do my make-up and get dressed.

All day, erry day. Seriously though, I listen to music a lot.

I wear neither of these things. I pretty much only wear skirts and dresses, but if I’m lounging about before bed I’ll wear yoga pants or pyjama pants.

Ehhhhhhhhhhh, I don’t know. I can be both at different times. Sometimes both at the same time even.

A lot of stuff is. I’m still the same person with a lot of the same interests. It’s also pretty different too though.

I think I’m a bit old for that now. Also, if I was trying to pass people notes during lecture these days, I wouldn’t have friends for very long. People pay a lot of money for education these days and distractions like note-passing aren’t usually welcome in the sciences.
