Hi!!! I absolutely love your writing and go back and reread your fics multiple times regularly. One of my faves is Inexorable and I was reading that one recently and was wondering. In the event that reader hadn't gone to Iwa to ask for the gun...would he still have intervened?? (It seemed like he was already mostly aware of the situation at least.) If so, what would that have looked like??
(also curious what their life is like post-fic! as of now Inexorable is def the fic of yours I would live in if I had to pick one to get sucked into. I feel like if she plays her cards right she has the best shot of a relatively enjoyable life but I wonder if I'm really on the wrong track lol)
I'm sorry if you've already answered this! I did try to look but the search function on this app is kind of hit or miss for me so don't know if I just missed it.
i was going to start this by saying iwa's more of an 'ask for forgiveness over permission' kinda guy but tbh i don't see him asking for either.
so in short, yes. iexorable is basically iwa waiting for the reader to catch on.
matsukawa saw her stalker and would've told iwa as much, and while he was under the impression they were seeing each other, that wouldn't have mattered to iwa. she could've been in the stairwells making out with the guy, flashing an engagement ring, skipping 'round singing about how lucky and in love she was, and he'd still see him as an obstacle to be removed. it just so happens he's a 'problem' problem, rather than a nice guy who made the mistake of falling for the wrong girl. win-win.
inexorable iwa's... i don't wanna say leashed, because that implies there's some level of control on the reader's part, and there definitely isn't. she's just as trapped in that relationship. he gives her a small measure of freedom, sure, but it balances on the edge of a knife. he won't give her a reason to leave if she doesn't try to. if she stays, loves him, and does what she's told, they'll be just fine. probably :))
