Something that I hate about AI is that now there are shops on Etsy that are basically putting in info like “take this photo and make it an embroidery project” or “make an embroidery pattern from this/these photo(s)”. And I’ve confirmed with the shop owners! I ask them if they’ve used AI images for their projects and they say yes! So not only are they using other people’s work and selling it as their own but they are making patterns that at best are difficult to complete and at worst are unusable because the finished product literally doesn’t exist and the instructions for it are nonexistent.

I hate AI because now I have to scrutinize every shop owner on Etsy that is selling patterns just to make sure it can actually be completed. Stars above, this makes me irate.
