Fans did.” You know ... harry never had to pick up the first rainbow flag... there was never any indication that 1d was an lgbt+ band no matter what anybody says they were always marketed as straight boys catering to straight girls so back in 2015 when Harry picked up the first pride flag.... that was unprecedented for 1d even if Harry had always been supportive of the community up until that point it became less about a tweet or a moment during a concert it became about creating a safe space for lgbt fans @ concerts like we didn’t start that we had no clue it was happening Harry himself curated this space from the first pride flag to the most recent one and to diminish that or to paint it as something “wrong” that’s just anti lgbt rhetoric right there
