no but it's seriously fantastic how diverse and utterly unstereotypical the characters in the new series are i mean we have:

piper, the badass beauty queen with a great voice who just happens to be native american

leo, the hyperactive mechanic with an unlucky love life who occasionally catches on fire and just happens to be latino

hazel, the quiet, caring (yet badass as hell) sorceress who loves horses and just happens to be black

frank, the awkward soldier with a mind for strategy and a propensity for shapeshifting, who just happens to be chinese (and canadian)

reyna,the cold but fair leader who just happens to be puerto rican

and now nico, the brooding, angsty kid who talks to the dead way too much and just happens to be queer in a freaking children's series how awesome is that man
