I’ve been getting quite a few headaches lately.
It’s given me something to think about, being that headaches are quite the documented phenomenon when beginning a Tulpa - but I don’t think of any of my guys as “traditional” Tulpae. I mean in that I don’t believe they were simply called forth from my imagination and “forced” into sentience.
In AJ’s case, it was more like she found me. I may have helped her develop by feeding her energy but she’s always been her. She’s always been fiercely independent and really, doesn’t need or ask for much from me. She’s really nothing like the case studies we’ve read about Tulpae. I suppose her immediate independence could be attributed to her not being my first Tup - but going by the accounts, shouldn’t that still mean she’d require a little more help to become sentient and her own person?
Ami was a bit of a surprise. I did adopt him as a muse (because, for me, drawing and writing abut cute skeletons is FUN!) and wasn’t really expecting him to become more than a simple “storybook” character. But he is and has become so, so much more than that. His personality and humour, his temperament and quirks aren’t things I would have put together in one character - he’s a bit of a contradiction! He’s gentle and sweet but pervy and funny, smart and loud but flirty and cute, protective and possessive but easy-going and mostly slow to anger.
Keahi and Eli are still very new and their personalities are still developing - or they’re just beginning to show them to us. Keahi especially has gone through a change or two - growing his “hair” longer, his dress sense, becoming more confident though retaining his slightly shy sweetness - and he surprises me quite often! Eli is the same. I wasn’t expecting him to change from the little Blank template even if he did start to become a Tulpa but his freckles and gap toothed smile were a cute surprise! xD I just wonder if our theories about energies being drawn to each other applies here. Were we meant to be together and some plan went a bit wrong so we adapted and found each other the only way we could? Or are my guys just simply a part of my fertile imagination? Or am I part of theirs? Does it really matter?
Well no, not really. It’s just interesting to think about!
Sorry if this makes no sense. We’re pretty tired and it’s late ^^;
Listening to this album and thinking « This song is cery Andy. ... THIS song is very Andy. » but a soft canadian indy Andy.
I got Andy on the brain trying to fall asleep tonight.
