Carmilla is one of the most self sacrificing and sympathetic characters ever? Like where did they get sociopathic? Bitch, wherrrrre???

i mean…she is pretty selfish. the only reason she did anything she did was for laura/to keep laura safe. she likely would’ve just let everything keep happening otherwise. but what’s great about her character is she kinda grew out of that by s3 and was willing to help for the good of everything (although her motivations were still mostly personal)

but if you’re gonna hate carmilla for stupid reasons there are plenty of stupid reasons to hate laura. neither of them are perfect
