Me reading reviews after I dislike a movie: wow this movie is excellent, thought-provoking, ahead of its time, this is oscar worthy and so much more
#dot txt#it makes me feel like i'm an idiot with poor artistic taste#which i know doesn't matter#but WHY!!!#the movie i'm talking about here is the lodge#i loved it and all the reviews were like 'this was stupid'#and i'm like ._. but i thought it was well done#and then movies like hereditary and the witch are lauded as being amaznig#and i'm like ?? i was bored the entire time? i hated it?#i mostly just watch horror movies that's what i know
