I do however find it interesting that we mostly seem to see the southerners fleshed out. I can’t imagine Elendel isn’t dragged in somewhere if they’re against Roshar. Which speaking off is also pretty vague about what they’re doing outside of trying to control Drominad as well

Starling also says that it’s common for them to have masks with metal attached, which turns out is medical equipment because of a specific battle. Does that mean it is a widespread problem among scadrians or did an unproportional amount of people who fought there move to emberdark work?

I really appreciate the way that the emberdark more or less solves my main concern regarding space era cosmere, that normal space travel is boring. Expanding on the shadesmar travel doesn’t just make for a type of travel that is more interesting, it also makes space travel itself more interesting because of the political and economic implications of having both.

It also makes me ask questions like what if you let an elsecaller do their thing in there? hope there’s a wob for that

Since I’ve started drawing Cosmere characters, in my own artworks I noticed two things 1) their uniform designs are different every fucking time 2) Rlain’s carapace looks different every fucking time.

I think I have a problem with decisions.

Every time I’m working on art I think about how cool it would be to make a full research, a ref board, elaborate the complicated design for each character as accurate as possible, but every time it ends with “it’s just a quick sketch, not detailed, just recognisable”
