Anyway, my event today went really fucking well, which was a relief (apparently needed a reminder that I do really well in my own neighborhood, and with my fellow queers). Just...what a good day. And last weekend was good, and I'm done with events for a month and a half, so it was nice to sort of hit intermission on a high, as it were. Also I traded for some honey/cannabis products from the lady I usually trade with and I'm never sure if we're flirting or not, and I traded for some weird earrings and I've been trying to remember to wear more of my weird earrings, so that's fun. And now my brain feels like mush because I've been talking to people all day.
Listen, I know this is my third queer film in a row from the Year of Our Lord 1996, but that's either a) just how it worked out, or b) because there's just so many gay films from 1996. Possibly both.

Look, this is so dumb, and I am cackling.
"I'm not a dude," he says, and like. I get called dude all the time. A few weeks ago, at one of my mediocre events, my booth neighbors started with ma'am and were exclusively calling me dude within an hour. People call me dude, unprompted, on the regular, and it delights me to no end. But this uptight twink is correct, he's not a dude.
