sorry this is a specific question so dw if you dont know, but on console MC, do you know if texturepacks update with the game? are they only for the version they were made for and thus would keep you playing that version if you dont turn it off for a new world? is there just a delay in the texturepack update for it to match?

I’m genuinely sorry, I have no idea 8( I’m a Java user.

This is something I’ve been thinking about since they announced it, but when Disney launches their own streaming service, what do you think will happen to their stale in Hulu? It seems likely they’re going to gut everything they have in Hulu and just abandon it for their own service which Im finding out now is called Disney+ how stupid.

once Disney closes the deal on Fox they’re going to have a 60% stake in the platform that they’re spending over a billion a year right now to compete against and if you thought that maybe Bob Iger recognized the absurdity of that you’d be wrong because as late as a November earnings call this year he told shareholders about plans to commit more money to expanding Hulu internationally and producing or acquiring more original content for the platform

financially the best case scenario for Disney would be to just scrap Disney+ and commit entirely to Hulu, the thing they’ll already own a majority share in, w/ the second smartest idea being to just gut all Disney/Fox content, sell the remainder to Comcast and let them lose nearly $2bn a year running it w/ a 90% stake (assuming AT&T continue to hold onto their share of it) but because this is a nonsense world where costs don’t matter and decent sense is in short supply what will probably happen is that Disney gets to lose 60% of $2bn and however many billions Disney+ costs them at the same time because they won’t sell their Hulu stake
