In the morning we arrived at Anitsanilla with the aim of climbing to summit the mountain and enjoying the landscape and the rich fauna and flora of the sector. The Antisanilla is located on the slopes of the Antisana Volcano, is difficult to access. This mountain is famous for being a conservation center for the condor. The Condor is a solitary bird that inhabits in the paramo of the Ecuadorian sierra. It has a colossal size of firm flight and great height. In the morning we made the approach to the mountain and on a slope we could detect a nest where there was a complete family of Sparrowhawks, a prey bird common in the Andean highlands, we heard and enjoyed some glimpses of 3 of them. For the afternoon after a long day of hiking over the marsh and swamp we arrived at the base of the Antisanilla, due to lack of time we did not summit and decided to return. On the way back, in the sector of the hawks' nest we saw a juvenile condor flying over, circling and gliding over the grassland, suddenly we see the 3 variable hawks, which surrounded the great condor, come out, one of them was behind He and struck him. With a quick air maneuver the condor was located behind the hawk and began a chase at high altitude and speed. Finally the two birds were lost in the sky.
