*Long Post Alert* . So, today’s gym session...or lack of... . Today was just not a good day. I think I was in the gym for maybe a good 20 minutes before I left. I was suppose to work up to a set of 4 at 245 (which honestly, that’s a bit much, but that’s not the point...), but I barely got through my warm up. Felt like I should’ve had a spotter for the bar. I did a single at 205, stopped, sat there for a minute, then packed my stuff up and walked out. So what happened? Welp...honestly, I’ve been feeling like shit, mentally and emotionally, for the past month. New command, new house, new environment...suffice to say, we’re doing a lot of “new stuff”. And adjusting has been....um, ”difficult”. And this past week has had me in the worst mindset, mentally and emotionally. Hadn’t made it to the gym this week until today, and I was hoping to blow off some steam, but well, fuck it, I guess...I wish I could end this on a positive note, but...I got nothing. Sorry. I guess this will pass, as usual... .
