It’s fine! It’s fine! 

Harmony turns her head to steal a glance at the scene around the corner. Sure enough, he is there. He is still there!  The endearing Captain himself is not very far from where she is. Harmony hears so much about him. Handsome, successful, charming. He seems too good to be true.

It will be fine! Just go over there and say hello. 

That plan is easier said than done. Oh, it’s intimidating to say the least. Cain is among the higher ranks with so much going for him, and who is she? Harmony recently joined the FBI. She came from a humble beginning from the middle of nowhere, risking everything to come to New York City and start a life serving others.  

Would he really want to have anything to do with her? She began work only a couple months ago getting the hang of her new phase of life. Would it be better to abandon her plan to meet him?  Perhaps it’s best to keep away, but....

But...

No! Only a coward would back away from this. How could she even call herself an agent if she’s too afraid to talk to someone of superior rank? They may have to work together in the future. She should break the ice and make herself known.

I... Harmony takes in a deep breath and allows it to escape in the form of a soft sigh. This is what she wants and she never backs down, no matter how bad the intimidation of the consequences may be. I have to try. I need to try. 

Hands clench to fists at her sides and she pushes herself forward from the wall. 

You got this. You got this, Harmony...  Another deep breath and she turns around the corner and closes in on the man before her.  Silver eyes look up and she clears her throat. “Excuse me. Excuse me, sir.” Harmony calls out, silently praying that her nerves are not apparent.  “I don’t...I-I don’t believe we met before. My name is Harmony. Harmony Halcyon, I’m one of the newer recruits”

Does Alice have a particular preference to men? If so, what are these preferences?

     She doesn’t have a specific type she keeps an eye out for or makes a point to pursue. It’s definitely a matter of compatibility. Being able to carry an engaging conversation is way more attractive to her than just good looks. 

As for preferences, I guess she goes for the strong and silent type more often than not. Growing up with both Japanese stories and European fairy tales, she has a weakness for warrior and/or prince-like men, and finds a bit of chivalry incredibly charming. (Seriously, kiss her hand or give her a flower and she’ll be swooning). The first thing she usually notices about a man is the eyes, then the hands. A nice smile also catches her attention. But she doesn’t favor one specific trait like a particular hair color or eye color over the other.

EXCLUSIVE. Private. Spotlighted by many, truly enjoyed a few. The girl or the bar? 

The thrumming bass throughout fades past her ears, focus kept on the bubbling drink, straw dancing between these pink nailed fingertips. She suffers with the taste of cranberries. Wished she knew what the sting of whiskey tasted like.

Even the semi-elite bored her. Pretty lads and lasses, none had caught her eye – save for him. Her ideal, everyone’s ideal – tall, dark and handsome. Eyes that burn with a danger she recognises only in the intensity of her co-stars. He was real. Very real.

She slides down the bar, the empty seat next to him her claim. Plastic smile at the ready, she plays the only role she knows how to.

“For a place like this, you’d think that it’d be a little different in here. Right?” Blue eyes glow up at him, brightened the colour of the DJ’s light systems.

“Though I have to say... you aren’t like the lot that are usually here.”

Gives a box, it was wrapped with pretty foil. Little did Teddy know, inside was a Nintendo Switch with Super Mario Bros.

      This is his first time ever receiving a wrapped present. He’s gotten gifts before, but never covered in pretty paper that can easily be torn apart. At first, he doesn’t know what to do. It’s only when Cain shows him that he begins to tear into it. The box, a Nintendo Switch with Super Mario Bros builts in, is stared at with absolute awe. 

      “WOW!” He lifts the box up and shows Cain, as if his father didn’t know what would be inside the pretty paper. “Papa wook! Wook!!” He bounces up and down in front of the captain, tail sticking straight up behind him. “Papa open, open it! Pweeeeees~!”

He’s getting pretty sick and tired of getting spam calls. This was a business but he guesses that some people must not have anything else to do, they were even more annoying than the occasional customer that called just to hear his voice. Creepy.  “For the last time we don’t–” his sentence is cut short when the store bell rings. The blond has his customer service smile on but something is definitely strange once the front door opened, he can’t really understand but he’s compelled to keep his eyes on the stranger’s, and Natsu hates it.. Slowly he puts the phone down with a soft tap of the receiver. 

“Welcome, can I help you with something?”
