I saw you reblogged the gifset of Hook saying Rumple had many chances to Belle, but don't forget that Rumple didn't exactly have support while Emma has an entire town to help her. Did Rumple not choose to be the Dark One to help all those children in his town? I'm not a Rumple stan at all, I just feel like believing Emma and Rumple are equally bad now as the Dark One.
