💕Bumble bee on pink heather 🐝
✨ Heather, or Calluna vulgaris, is a low evergreen shrub of the family Ericaceae. It grows widespread in western Europe and Asia, North America, and Greenland, and is the chief vegetation on many wastelands of northern and western Europe. ✨
🌿 Heather is an anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and a diuretic. Its flowers and leaves can be dried and steeled to create a tea, or infused in oil to use as a balm on aches and pains. Heathers medical properties come from a compound called Arbutin. A compound also fond in bearberry. 🌿
I always always know when it is a fic by you I will LOVE it. Even if it doesn’t sound like my jam I always try it anyway and I’m never disappointed. You are amazing! I did have a question. (It’s not a critique at all just wondering). A lot of writers will post chapter by chapter but you always post your long fics completed. It’s fun because I will be wondering about what you are working on and -bam- whole fic. I was just wondering why you choose to do it that way. Like you hate waiting when you read fics, you prefer it be read as a whole, or it’s a pain to keep posting? Anyway, thank for all the beautiful stories!

;~; Thank you so much ;~; Seriously, that is so kind of you to say, I really appreciate that even things you’re not sure are your jam, you still give them a try anyway, that literally means so much to me, and I love you for the support! Seriously, thank you so much ;~;
As for your question, definitely not taking it as a critique, don’t worry XD And I used to post fics chapter by chapter. I used to do like, a posting schedule where I would choose a day of the week and write and post for that day. I think somewhere along the way I just kind of realized that people get nervous about WIPs since some authors don’t finish them (I have been burned many times myself |D).
Also I do have times where I’ll start something and lose interest half-way through, and while I might go back to it sometime in the future, I can never promise that, nor can I promise when I’ll go back to it. And I would rather not struggle through a fic I’m not enjoying just to get a chapter up every week, which would probably affect the quality of the piece.
So I think during my transition to TW, when I was doing the Sterek New Year’s Extravaganza, because the pieces had to be posted on the day, and I did all 31 of them in advance (some of which were quite long), I decided that maybe that would just be my new thing. I could write whatever, and only edit and post the finished ones. That way it lets me play around with a few ideas at the same time until one really takes hold and I don’t have to worry about people waiting for months (or years) for the next chapter. (I will admit to a fic I wrote that had 2 hiatuses between chapters, one that lasted two years, and one that lasted eight months. I eventually finished it, but I hated the fic by the end of it, so I mostly finished it because people really wanted me to, and it’s not fair to anyone to half-ass something because of lost interest).
I mean, I did pose the question a while ago about more frequent short chapters or one massive dump of a fic at once and most people liked the massive fic so I kind of stuck with it. But if people would rather I switch to what I did with Actions (ie: I wrote the whole fic before I started posting, and put up a chapter a day, that way people knew the fic was finished and didn’t have to worry about it being abandoned, but they could read it at their leisure), I can do that too. I’m open to change, whatever people prefer :)
Thank you for the lovely ask!!! <3<3<3<3<3<3<3
This just makes me go ahhhhhhh 😌
