Nugu GG of the Week #533 : BVNDIT (part 4)

Next is Children, the 2nd single from their 2nd mini album. This is definitely, IMO, their best single and the best song in their discography by far. The lyrics and message of the song are so beautiful, them singing a song to their mom basically, the MV was an animated MV which I really thought was well done. Seems like you're watching a graphic novel. To me another strong reason why they should've been pushed into a different direction sonically over songs like Jungle (which spoiler we're skipping over because I don't like that one much 🤫).

The next b-side is from their 3rd mini album, we ran out of good b-sides to talk about from the first two, and it's Don't Mess With Me. Despite the strong titled song it's actually a bit more mid tempo and calmer than you'd expect. It's got a good synth beat to give overall for the hook but the highlight is definitely the brief guitar break for the chorus, kinda wish the song had more of that.
