The into of the campaign based on MENA cultures being from "classic" American and western explorer movies such as Indiana Jones and The Mummy is extremly tone deaf. Those movies paint us in racist, sterotyped way. They are filled to the fucking brim with colonial and imperial themes. And when Indiana wears our cultural desert garb It's appropriation not appreciation

These movies are about foreigners stealing or destroying our culture and artifacts being painted as heros and paints natives as the evil enemies.

There's also the fact that these movies reflect real life events like western museums being full of stolen artifacts from our cultures and even the skulls and bones of ingedious people who were murdered by colonisers. They are proudly shown to this day

Ron is probably just not good at it and he always gets red and huffy when he loses, but then starts practicing at night without them so he can win and he probably shows off too much that it ends in a fight
