I was so caught up in the bittersweet triumph (bittersweet because of how badly Emily got hurt), I didn't write anything down about Sera and Emily's hug.

That moment lives in my heart rent-free, though. All the stress and pressure and intensity of the entire season, and Sera shrieked but she didn't cry until she saw Emily's wing (and, I am absolutely convinced, realized how close she came to losing her).

And even though her middle left wing is down to bone and I cannot IMAGINE how much that hurts, Emily smiles when she hugs her back.

It's so quick but it Says So Much.
