“I was looking at an art display and you were asleep behind the display case”

Lily had been staring at the painting in the school art gallery for what felt like hours, trying to find something to write about for her paper. She set her notebook aside and got up to walk around the room.

She’d been sure she was alone, and she jumped when she noticed that what she’d assumed was a sculpture in the corner of the room was actually a bench, a girl sleeping on top of it. She walked over and nudged the girl.

The day had been rough and the one thing Arizona wanted and needed most was a sleep, but she  couldn’t go home just yet. She had lost too many  patients that day and had been punched in the face by a patient’s father so she was just..sore. She  groaned lightly and placed her head on her desk in her office.
