Glitter was everywhere. Feather boas were on the floor, discarded by their owners. Everyone was ready to get untucked, not talk to anyone, and go home. But not Andrei. He was as bubbly as could be, talking with the other queens and helping them out of their corsets. He was still in full drag, too busy upholding his “Miss Congeniality” title while the cameras weren’t running. He wanted to be as nice as he could, as sweet as he could, just to impress a certain someone.
Andrei felt like a winner, with a sash wrapped around his torso and a smile on his face. One that was even bigger when he saw Esme--Teodor. Sure, he saw the other on set, even sat next to him. They were interrogated by fans and other queens about their “behind-the-scenes work” together, called out by Rupaul himself together, but only now did Andrei actually feel like he was having a reunion with the Slav. Taking in a breath, straightening his sash, and ignoring Stef’s disgusted looks, Andrei walked up to Teodor, tapping the other on the shoulder with an unfaltering smile.
It had been a long day, but Matt was pleased to see the light on in his front window as he pulled up at his little flat. He liked coming home to find Teo chilling on the sofa, ready to spend an evening together. Pushing open the unlocked door, he smiled brightly at his friend, though his movements slowed when he saw the man’s expression. “Hey, Tee... something wrong?”
Dropping his head upon Fran’s shoulder, he wound his own arms loosely around the Frenchmans middle. “I don’t know what’s wrong. I just feel- I don’t know… Weird.”
“Weird?” Gently rubbing Teo’s back, Franny nuzzled into Teo’s hair, heart just aching at the boy’s words. “Have you eaten? I can make you crêpes, if you like.”
we haven’t interacted much but teodor seems like a really great character!! and teodor is a really great name? idk why. but i already love and feel bad for him and we need to start a dissolved nations club for all our sad ocs
“Alright, that’s the guest list done! Good job.” Leaning away from his laptop, Matt pecked Teo’s nose, smiling sweetly at his fiance. “So- flowers. I’m thinking we gotta pick the flowers on our own or papa’s going to fill the place with three thousand different types and everyone will die,” Matt chuckled. “Any ideas?”
Knees tucked tight against his chest, Matt worked up the courage to hit call, fear coursing through him as the phone began to ring. He couldn't help but fear for Teo's safety, for his wellbeing, and secretly, he was most afraid of Teo telling him he was never coming back. But he had to call, or he'd never know. "Please pick up, come on..."
Milk. Cheese. Bread. Pasta. Painkillers. A gap in his bag that would fit a litre of chocolate milk perfectly, but was destined to remain empty. With a resigned sigh and a rub of his aching chest, Mattie headed for the register, too focused on the pain to watch where he was going.
Smack.
Right into some poor guy. Out of sheer surprise, Matt dropped his shopping bag, blinking rapidly as he tried to focus on the scene. “Whoops-- oh, man, I’m sorry! Are you okay?”
“Teo?” Far from his usual happy attitude when coming home from work, Matt looked troubled, hanging his bag up on the coat rack and dropping down to hug the dogs as they bounded towards him. “Hey, babies... Tee? Uh, can we talk?”
