“Well this place looks promising..” 

Yuki ran a hand through her hair, white strands staining red from the blood on her hands. She usually knows her way around using portals in any violent collision, but distractions can easily make you forget coordination. A shard of glass snaps under her foot and she jumps; dark alleyways were always a place for..not so fortunate events. 

She saw the street lights ahead and marched towards it. City was unknown for she couldn’t pick up any familiar presence but being out in the open where they could be PEOPLE was always better than alone. One step onto the sidewalk and she could hear gun shots already, ducking her head by reflex. 

“Hey!! Watch it!” Yuki barely had time to see who it was that sent her crashing onto the pavement, nearly breaking her back, before he was hauling her upwards with a gun to her sides. “What are-- HEY!” The gun was jabbed into her side a little too roughly, knocking the air out of her lungs. If she hadn’t been in a fight just a few minutes ago, this man would be lying on the ground crippled. She could taste the bitter taste of sweat on his palms that were pressed against her mouth and she wanted nothing more than to sink her teeth into his flesh. 

What a wonderful finale, becoming a hostage for a HUMAN running away from-- well, he was no cop.

      “Robin. Stop talking and breathe properly.       Now is not the time for explanations. Try       to cough up all of the water in your lungs.”

  He wasn’t surprised Robin wasn’t making   much sense, the lack of oxygen to the brain   often resulted in that. All the more reason to   be firm; the last thing he wanted was for Robin   to get aspiration pneumonia from fluid in his lungs.

Kaldur was upset. It was his failing as leader that it took him so long to realize Robin had  lost his re-breather. Being able to breathe under water just as well as on land, water hadn’t  registered as something dangerous enough  to constantly check up on. This was a sharp reminder of the burden on his shoulders - the weight of the distinct value of Robin’s life.

  He eyed Robin’s sopping wet uniform and cape.   Kaldur would be making sure he changed into   something dry and warm as soon as they got   back to the Cave.

Wally often shows his love for others through small acts that show how much he cares, surprising his significant other with their favorite food, planning an evening in watching movies, sharing his favorite songs and movies with them. He’s a pretty affectionate person and is happily the first to initiate a cuddle session and he’d usually be one to constantly call or text to see how the other is doing. Also puns and really bad pick-up lines..lots of those.
