Relationship headcanons for Selena and Brom?

-Brom first caught Selena’s eye because of the way he treated Murtagh.  He posed as a gardener at Morzan’s estate and Murtagh spent a lot of time outside to stay further away from his father.  Brom loves kids and always treated him kindly when he’d play in the gardens.

-(guys dont imagine brom playing with baby murtagh and seriously dont imagine him pulling on broms beard as they both laugh)

-Brom reveals himself to Selena because he wants to be able to protect her.  More than anything, he can truly empathize with her because he knows what she’s going through, seeing as how he suffered the same things, manipulation, abuse, betrayal, at Morzan’s hand close to 100 years ago.

-Speaking of Morzan, they spend a lot of time bonding over their ill fated crushes on him and how much of an asshole he actually turned out to be.

-So. Much. Sexual. Tension.

-They have a pact never to talk about the dangers of what they’re doing; it never fails to devolve into a massive argument.  They both care about each other so much that they desperately want to get the other out of harm’s way, but they’re both far, far, far too stubborn to leave what they consider their duties.

-Whenever they would have some time together and just needed to forget about the horrors all around them, they would talk sweet nothings about someday getting married and settling down and raising a family together.  It was always imaginings, not plans, since they knew they would never have the chance, but talking about it calmed them down and made them feel closer.

-Eragon has Selena’s brown eyes.  They always lifted Brom’s spirits whenever he noticed them because they reminded him that, even though Selena herself was gone, she was still making a difference in the world through their son.

Don’t imagine Stan crying because he’s experiencing all these new and weird almost feeling towards his best friend, who is in love with his other best friend. Don’t imagine Stan getting false hope everytime Bill says he’s in love. Don’t imagine Stan crying himself to sleep because Bill had his first ever kiss and it wasn’t with him.
