Up until a while ago, Link had been living off the land in this area for a few months. Unsure of who he was, save for his name, and only knowing where he’d awoken, he had no memory of his past or where he came from. To complicate matters further, he found himself incapable of speech and that most people reacted negatively upon meeting him. Whoever he’d been before, he’d been taught to fight, that much was obvious. The area he’d woken up in provided a few weapons but little else. Seeking answers, he’d set out only to discover more questions.
Putting what skills he had to use, he’d been living off the land until these rifts appeared and the abominations crawled out of them. He could do little to close the gates, but he could stem the tide as people in the area evacuated. Vanquishing demons was at least something he could do, regardless of his memory loss or lack of speech.
However, he’d been careless with the last demon and was now nursing a nasty mark down his arm. While shuffling through some herbs, knowing the one he needed but not yet seeing it, he heard the soft crunch of grass.
Immediately he stood and turned toward the source, finding a small group not too far away. He eyed them warily, not sure if they meant harm or help. He’d had his fair share of both encounters.

“Cute cat you’ve got there, kid,” she says, leaning over the counter to the kid with the enamel pin jacket. She was New Guy’s, right? Mandy? Angela? Amanda? Amanda sounded probably accurate.
“I’ll give her to you for a blood sacrifice.”
even if alistair was worried that morrigan or her mother might turn him into a FROG, even after they saved them after the ambush, elian couldn’t help but feel a sense of peace. her skin was nicked from where arrows had PLUNGED through armor and her voice strained to speak much above a wheeze, but the gentle sway of the TREES and the grass under her feet helped her distract herself from the thoughts of the onslaught of darkspawn and blood.
armor left on her temporary bed, she stepped over to where he was sitting with a PENSIVE look, still appearing short even when he wasn’t standing. ‘are you... alright?’

The frigid air bit at the students faces and swirled throughout the hallways. The young fairytale proteges slipped and stumbled to their classes; some determined souls even climbing sheer walls of ice to reach their goal. One such student was Darling Charming. With a shield borrowed from the boy’s armory, the blonde shoveled her way through the thick blankets of snow, leading a cohort of students through the school’s corridors. Finally, she made it to her own classroom: Damsel-in-Distressing 101. The irony of having to fight her way through mountains of snow in order to get to a class where her job would be to sit and wait was not lost on the princess.
However, she was already here, and would rather not risk being caught skipping class. With a silent eye roll to herself, Darling shoved against the frozen door. Only, it wouldn’t budge. Determined not to let a pesky door get in her way, she took her shield and struck it against the ice locking the door closed. It shattered and the doors swung open with the strong thud of thick oak against stone. The shock of the entrance hitting the walls caused the whole room to shake, and a flurry of snow fell from the rafters. Before she had a chance to think, her feet instinctively carried Darling into the room and away from the threat of avalanche.
Snow crashed behind the princess, throwing her forward and sliding her across the ice. After skidding to a halt, Darling was finally able to get a look at her surroundings. The doorway was completely filled with snow, so it was a good thing she was already in the class she needed. The girl wasn’t sure if she could manage the strength the dig the whole thing out right now. Right! Class! Darling hoped she was the last one coming, because any other students were kind of out of luck at the moment. Unfortunately, it would seem Darling was the one out of luck; the classroom was empty! It appeared that even Maid Marian had skipped out on teaching in favor of a warmer environment. With a dainty sigh of disappointment, Darling slumped over on the ground. What a waste of time and energy.
But a small shuffle caused the princess to look up. Was she not alone? Standing up, she called out to what she had originally thought to be an empty room.
“Hello? Is somebody there?”
A pop of red slipped out from behind one of the couches the students used to practice their waiting. Darling’s eyes widened.
“Apple?”

Alexander stepped carefully up the long set of stairs up to the bell tower. In his thin arms, the young man held a large book that he certainly hoped would be able to garner quite the reaction out of his dear friend, Quasimodo. An excited smile graced the pale, lanky prince’s face as the mere thought of Quasi finding out what he had planned for them.
Usually, the young prince would be adhered to his twin’s side in such a large place. However, that wasn’t the case in this familiar place. With a friend he knew would be there to keep him company, his anxious nature was lesser than usual. Instead, he was looking forward to the quiet time he’d be able to have with his friend, that of which he had far too much in common with.
With a small wheeze of his breath, Alexander managed to get to the doorway that connected the stairwell to the open area at the top of the bell tower. Reaching his hand up, while struggling to hold onto the magic book in his arms, the young man knocked loudly. Waiting a moment, he was unsurprised when he was left unacknowledged. You would think he’d learn by now, but his need to be courteous outweighed logic at times.
He stepped through to the area in which Quasimodo lived up here, and spied him at his table with the numerous carvings of buildings and people around Paris. Wrapping another secure arm around the large magic book, Alexander approached him and carefully tried to make his presence known without startling the other too much.

“Ehe-ehemm.” Wylan cleared his throat, like he was about to make an important announcement. “Guess who has extra tickets to an exclusive aerodynamic convention in The Geldrenner this weekend?” A dramatic pause followed and then he tugged his waistcoat as he jutted out his chest, lips split into a full grin.
