2016 was one hell of a year, and not in a great way. But I’m sure there were a few diamonds in the rough!!!
1. I got out of a very unhealthy relationship and even though it broke my heart, it was for the best in the long run and I am much happier now!
2. I started working on some undergraduate research
3. My third nephew was born and my sister got married!
4. I traveled to Colorado twice and fell in love with the mountains
5. I started a mineral and gem collection!
6. Despite being terrified, I worked my ass off and excelled in my upper level departmental classes
7. I became really close with some work friends
8. I started individual discipleship and I absolutely love my discipler :)
9. I became very involved with my church on campus and have become a member of an amazing, loving family with whom I have already shared so many wonderful experiences!
10. Through everything that I have endured this year and what has happened, I have really come to learn so much about myself and realized many things I want in life :)

Also, I really want to thank you all, for making the second half of this year so amazing for me... For following this blog, for liking my art, for being so supportive and encouraging. THANK YOU ALL!

Happy New Years Eve/New Year! (Part 1)
This morning before work I met up with Isaac again for shawarma and stories. He filled me in on what happened last night after I left Revolution, and we took pictures with a man dressed in a bunny suit…
Being New Years Eve, tonight Jenny and I said goodbye to 2016 counted down to the New Year together. We started the night with Korean BBQ at Ben Jia, and then settled in at Shanghai Brewery to wait for 2017. Our night consisted mostly of eating, drinking, eating some more, and taking pictures together.

I see myself as a slow reader so that number seems kind of huge ...I’ve read way more this year than I realised oO There are periods (usually during summer) when i read less (can’t finish even one tiny little book in a month) and it gives me the impression I’m ALWAYS a “lousy” reader. And again this post doesn’t take fanfictions, audiobooks and audio-dramas into account - ok, I’ll stop here.
