No offense, but I've decided now that, while Tom Petty is still 100% absolutely my musician and writer hero, personally, he no longer qualifies as one of my general “heroes.” I've just sort of lost respect for him personally (which I will not divulge my reasons for, sorry). He'll never stop being one of my all-time favorite musicians and songwriters, though - never! So don't worry about that. :)

Am I wrong, or is Famke supposedly playing Jacob/Tom’s mother in their spin-off? Maybe they can tease his parenthood with someone hot who definitely doesn't look their age and put them into all sorts of romantic tropey situations where their sexual chemistry is off the charts and then people can follow parent-gate over to that show.
