The Backyard Dilemma: When Grass Just Isn’t Cutting It Anymore
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about my sad, patchy backyard. It’s not bad, exactly—just uninspired. The grass struggles in Orlando’s heat, the kids track mud inside every time it rains, and our "entertaining space" is basically a folding table on uneven dirt. I wanted something more. Something that felt intentional.

They had this gallery of brick-paved patios and walkways that looked so inviting—like a real extension of the home, not just a place to dump a grill. The idea of a herringbone-patterned patio with space for a fire pit got me daydreaming hard. No more muddy shoes, no more wrestling with the lawnmower every weekend. Just clean lines and a place to actually enjoy being outside.
