               despite the warming weather, aejung can still be found in her trusty hoodie, hood pulled up and tightened around her face. would she go out in public like this? absolutely not. but when she’s with daeil? that’s a different story. ❝ do i look cute? ❞ she asks, lips pursed with tufts of hair sticking out of the edges of her hood and hands resting under her chin as she tries not to laugh long enough to hear his answer.

it’s been a few days since the....incident; despite dodging sadie’s many questions about it and insisting that woobin is fine and it was a momentary thing, gwen isn’t so ready to dismiss it herself. she’s already reconciled that she’ll never bring it up, because for all the things he’s enjoyed rubbing in her face over the years, her genuine emotional distress was never one and she’d like to hold herself to the same ( rather low ) bar. 

so instead, she sits on the couch and watches the door, waiting for woobin to come back from his run. the second it creaks open, her back straightens up and her eyes widen. “hi, baby,” she calls, leaning over the back of the couch. “how’d it go?”

“i don’t want to find a new apartment.” not that she has much of a choice now. her landlord decided, on very short notice, to sell the building and the rent doubled. lyssa could afford it still, but the tiny place wasn’t worth it. “why do i have to find somewhere new to live? i’ve got so much shit, i can’t believe i’m gonna have to move it all.”

“i don’t see why mom is so up in arms about me finding something to do with my time. she realizes i’m still going to classes, right?” half of them may be online, but she’s still doing her work. dana chews on the end of her straw. it’s a terrible, nervous habit. “there isn’t anything else i want to do....”
