Hey, do you happen to remember the finale of season one? When Mike was the only one of the little kids still awake in the hospital waiting room, so anxious for Will to wake up? And then Jonathan called them all in? And Joyce was holding out her hands as they rushed in, trying to keep the excited kids from overwhelming Will? And Mike just deftly sidestepped her? And she let him? Because it was MIKE? Because Mike and Will have always been in a different category from the other friends? And Mike laid his head on Will's chest so he could hear his heart beating and know that he was really alive? Do you remember that?

another thing about that ad: will is straight up ignoring mike. I mean he’s cordial for sure, but even when speaking he addresses lucas and even looks at lucas (not mike) when dustin comes in.
obv body language shows what he’s really feeling but it’s interesting to see will purposefully try to avoid looking or talking at/with him. meanwhile mike is out here doing all that. season 5 byler we are not ready for you.
Do I think Sorcerer will canonize byler? No.
Do I think something in Sorcerer will be extremely important to the Byler Proof Cinematic Universe (BPCU)? Yes.
We’re about to get something big in Sorcerer. Im talking rain scene/van scene big. Not canon byler yet bc they need to keep us guessing but god it’s gonna be pretty incriminating.
and that’s what I expect from Sorcerer.
I feel like a lot of people are confusing "you don't need anyone else to be your whole and realized self" for "you don't need anyone else."
I will never get over Mike being furthest away, everyone rushing toward Will at the same time, Lucas so concerned he vaults over the freaking table ... and Mike still gets there first.
