Animalitude
The live performance was presented via Microsoft Teams. Before the presentation, I analysed the behaviour and characteristics of a specific animal. Then, I proceeded to recreate a similar habitat where I could embody its nature.
Dropping Objects
a leaning nose
The task of the assignement was to come up with a performance in which dropping objects was involved. I wanted to create a relation between the physical fall of matter and the topic building and destroying a face.

Impressions of first meeting
Bumps on the wall coming from the room to the left. Bumps following a rhythm on the wall from the room to the right. Outside, birds are chirping under the shining sun. It feels like a regular morning in my room, but I have to attend my lessons in it. The space feels comfortable. The atmosphere is surely different from the one of a room in the university, yet I feel equally relaxed. Having a big desk is practical to organize the space around me, I can immediately reach whatever I need by stretching my arm. I don’t even have to change my clothes. I jump from the bed to the toilet and then to my PC.
The fact that voices and faces arrive to me through a digital filter makes me feel disconnected though. The display and the speakers are in front of my face, nevertheless I feel very distant from whoever speaks. When internet issues occur to me I have to disconnect and wait and it becomes very obnoxious after a while. Even when it occurs to another person the feeling stays the same, because that person has to acknowledge that he/she couldn’t be properly heard and has to repeat what he/she’s just said, but it’s possible that sometimes details are forgotten so the message changes.
