Hi Yall! Good news and Bad News.
Bad news first: By Yourself is Canceled. (Well, that version of the story, at least)
I couldn't get behind all the plot issues and out of character moments I included in the earlier chapters. The pacing is off and It made my work much harder at the end. There are many scenes that could've been added and many scenes that could've been toned down or taken away. It's not impactful enough, yknow? And some things don't make any sense.
But the good news is... By Yourself is getting a complete rewrite!!
That's right. A complete and utter rewrite of the premise, where everything is done much better. A lot of things will be drastically different (such as the beginning of the fic and the maze arc), so I implore you to spot the improvements once I finish it. Even if the original version was fine, you can all have a much better story now!!!
