As the helicopter banked away, they took one last look at the island. They thought of all they had lost and left on that remote strip of sand in the middle of nowhere. They nearly lost hope. But most of all they left a piece of themselves.

Man, life sucks. I mean you're born, you have to go through all the bullshit of living, paying bills, getting old or getting sick. For what? To die? There has to be a payoff.

He always found it amusing the way the news media seem to sensationalize everything.

Look, no other race has been psychologically manipulated like black people. For damn near a millennium it's been drilled into our heads by white people that we're inferior, and I for one truly believe that it has altered the way our brains process information regarding race. Bottom line, we feel as a people we have been treated the worst, so in our minds there is a double standard when it comes to racial issues.

Muhammad: Conspiracy against black people is everywhere. Take a simple game like pool for example. The cue-ball is the most important ball on the table and it's what color?
Someone: White.
Muhammad: That's right. White. The table's surface is green like the Earth and the white ball tries to put all of the colored balls in the hole, like the red ball.
Fame: The Indian?
Muhammad: Correct. The yellow ball?
Valerie: Orientals.
Muhammad: Asians. And who does the white ball save for last?
White people throw the word black around too casually. For instance, everything that's black is bad. Like black-eye, black-mark, black-magic is bad but white magic is good. Why is that?
