VIERRA CONNOR | OLGA KURYLENKE

✝ Age: (33) ✝ Location: Byssya ✝ Relationships: Torul Molec, Arthurn Secura (charges) ✝ Description: Like Brie Trayvis, Vierra Connor obtained a man’s job by showing Byssya what she was capable of. There was an assassination attempt on Torul Molec’s life eight years ago and it was Vierra’s quick thinking that saved him. Now, she’s the Captain of his Kingsguard. Vierra is as good as her job as any man before her and she’s hoping that as she continues to prove herself, that Byssya will begin to offer women the same opportunities it offers men. Vierra takes her job very seriously. Her father was a Captain in the Karthian army who retired to Byssya (where he met her mother) after an injury left him unfit for duty. Vierra learned all that she knows by his side and had always envied those who could give their lives for their planet. Her father died when she was sixteen, however, and her less accepting mother kept trying to make Vierra more like the other girls, but as much as she tried to make her fit into that the mold, Vierra could never get comfortable. She tried to please her mother, but she learned very early on that she would never be the woman her mother wanted and she stopped trying. Vierra values duty and honor above all else. She is kind, but stern, to others. While Vierra is known for being serious and having a rare smile, she does have a sense of humor that surfaces now and again. Still, for the most part, she doesn’t appreciate (or understand) when other’s try to make light of serious situations. TAKEN BY JENN.

KOL FANASO | EWAN McGREGOR

✝ Age: (40) ✝ Location: Byssya ✝ Relationships: Torul Molec (friend) ✝ Description:  When Kol was much younger, he was a great fighter. He was thought to one day, lead the Byssian army. However, he was on Arvor when the Quasars took over and during that battle he injured his leg and he was no longer fit for battle. Kol has been Torul’s trusted friend since they were children and it was after Torul became king that he asked Kol to be on his council. Kol was reluctant at first, for after his injury he began studying medicine with the hopes of becoming a doctor, but in the end, he conceded to his friend’s request. Since then, Kol has become his most trusted advisor and Torul’s right hand. While he was at first hesitant to take this post, Kol believes that he has made the right choice. He wanted to study medicine because he wanted to help people, but he’s found that he’s been able to do that -- just in a different way -- with this job, as well. Kol is the only person on Byssya who knows about Torul’s plans of revolt and he’s often been the point of contact between Torul and the Harands.  TAKEN BY LIZZY.

TORUL MOLEC, KING OF BYSSYA | BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH

✝ Age: (36) ✝ Location: Byssya ✝ Relationships: Arthun Secura (nephew/heir presumptive), Vierra Connor (captain of kingsguard), Kol Fanaso (council member/friend) ✝ Description: Torul is a serious, stubborn, rarely-forgiving man with a strong sense of duty and justice. He neither dissembles nor flatters. He is determined to do what is best for Byssya (even at the expense of another planet). He secretly wishes to move against the Quasars and has approached Arantha Harand regarding an alliance with her planet. He initially wished to marry Caressa, but once she was married to Aram Quasar, he proposed to marry Mira when she comes of age. Although Arantha wishes to overthrow the Quasars as well, it would put her other sister in danger and while Torul is more than willing to risk her, Arantha is not. Torul is respected and feared by his people, but he is not loved. This has never bothered him, however, as he tends to consider love a weakness. He does privately care about his nephew, Arthun, even though he is an endless source of frustration. If he does not marry Mira Harand, Torul will be looking for a wife elsewhere soon, because he knows it wouldn’t be in Byssya’s best interest to leave the throne to his less than responsible nephew.  TAKEN BY KATE AA.

ARTHUN SECURA, PRINCE OF BYSSYA | SAM CLAFLIN

✝ Age: (26) ✝ Location: Byssya ✝ Relationships: Torul Molec, Konstantine Secura (uncles), Brie Trayvis (best friend), Demeara Calway (former fling) ✝ Description: Arthun knows that if his uncle never has any children of his own, that he will be king: which is why he’s been trying to find his uncle a suitable wife as soon as possible. Arthun enjoys his life just as it is: with all the benefits of being royalty, without any of the responsibilities. Arthun isn’t like most of the Byssians. While he likes to learn, he’d rather learn by doing, rather than being cooped up in a library all day. He was notorious for getting into trouble as a child and that’s not exactly a habit he’s managed to brake. While he respects his Uncle Torul, he doesn’t have much in common with him and most days it’s all he can do not to fall asleep during one of their conversations. He has no idea that his uncle is considering rebelling against the Quasars, and probably wouldn’t believe you if you told him.  TAKEN BY KATE AA.
