What happens when a Vulpix and a Skitty have kits together?
Because, uh... I recently took a job outside of the home, so I left my female Vulpix in my mother's care. Now I've come back to her telling me how my Vulpix "seduced" the neighbors Skitty!
Anon, I'm so sorry, but coming into my inbox and seeing the word "seduced" to describe the relationship between two little guys in incredibly funny to me. Anyways.
Pokemon Crossbreeds: Cat Tail
Cat Tail is the breed name for members of the Ninetales line whose father is a member of the Delcatty line. The breed got its name from the little things they gain on their tail. It is a breed favored by people who use pokemon as pets because of their relaxed and docile nature.
Vulpix
Cat Tail Vulpix going the traits of Skitty such as the fur pattern and three little skitty tail extensions on their mid tail. While Vulpix are known for being skittish and avoiding people, since these Vulpix are mostly found in urban areas, they are less afraid of humans and may even come up to play with them, even if they are a wild mon. They like to chase their tail extensions around, but they don't like others touching them.
Ninetales
(Putting both the purple and orange fur Variant up bcuz both are pretty common)
Cat Tail Ninetales gain the traits of Delcatty, most notably the neck pillow (which is actually just fat, fun fact) and the tulip-shaped extensions on the tails (they are on all tails, but the pose that Kantonian Ninetales is in just hides them). Like Delcatty, these Ninetales spend much of their day sleeping. They hate to be woken up and will growl at you if you're lucky and blast a fireball or ice ball at you if you aren't. Like their previous evolution, they like to chase their tails around but hate it when others touch them.
Safe to breed? Vulpix + Skitty, Vulpix + Delcatty, and Delcatty + Ninetales is all safe.

Headcanons for cat-like pokémon
Persian
You are unlikely to find this pokémon in urban settings, unless you happen to encounter a trainer who raised it since it was a Meowth, or battled and caught it.
Wild persians are often spotted near hiking trails, but close encounters are rare, as these pokémon are generally wary of people.
Persians typically lead solitary lives due to their highly territorial nature, driving away anyone they perceive as a threat or an intruder, although they are known to occasionally show some tolerance towards members of their own litters.
If you find yourself face to face with a wild Persian, the best course of action is to keep your eyes fixed on it. This pokémon is an ambush predator; if it realizes you are watching it, it will know it's lost a crucial advantage and may retreat.
If you are attacked by a Persian, you must grab its whiskers, without pulling hard enough to tear them off, and hold onto them firmly. By doing this, you will be establishing your dominance over Persian, driving the pokémon to be in either fear or awe of you, thus keeping it from lashing out at you.
Unfortunately, persians are often targeted by poachers who seek to harvest and sell the gem on the pokémon's forehead. Recently, rangers have put significant effort into exposing the unlawful providers of the funds for such unethical practices.
Should you become the caretaker of a Persian, you would need to account for it's need for independence and it's moments of solitude. It is also highly recommended to ensure the pokémon stays exercised by, for instance, taking it on long weekly walks or honing it's battling skills.
Purugly
Large colonies of puruglies can be easily found in the countryside, wherein they are very appriciated, as they lend assistance to many by hunting or keeping away vermin.
However, the pokémon's prevalence in rural areas often stems from the fact that they are feral specimens, having returned to the wild after spending the early stage of their lives as domesticated Glameow. Should a trainer take one of those Puruglies they would be depriving the people that look after the pokémon of their companion, becoming guilty of thievery.
Catchable puruglies can, more often than not, be found in the alleyways of bustling towns, as unfortunately many glameows get released or abandoned upon losing their cutesy appearance due to evolution.
If you ever feed a wild or stray Purugly, be aware that the pokémon will start following you wherever you go. Once a Purugly views you as a reliable source of food, it won't leave your side until it finds someone or something else to provide for it's needs.
Puruglies are known for being possessive and jealous of any nest they find or claim for themselves; therefore, if you want to earn a Purugly's long term trust, you must prepare a resting spot for it, the more comfortable, the better.
Studies on trainers who own a Purugly have revealed that this feline pokémon remains wary of people and other pokémon even months after their first introduction, despite forming an extremely strong bond with its own trainer, glaring fiercely at anyone who gets too close, except for it's master.
Delcatty
A renowned pokémon known for it's gentle temperament and beauty, Delcatty is one of the most popular household pokémon, alongside it's pre-evolution, Skitty.
However, normies and trainers alike tend to underestimate the amount of care a pokémon as high-maintenance as Delcatty requires in order to thrive.
Delcatties are, for instance, highly prone to shedding their fur due to stress; therefore, to preserve their luxurious coats, trainers must provide a predictable routine and an environment free from any disturbances, a task that can prove extremely difficult and expensive.
It is no surprise, then, that those who properly care for their Delcatty love to show the pokémon off or enter it into beauty contests. A trainer's effort often pays off in the end too, as well-groomed delcatties are known to be favorites among many pokémon contest judges.
There are delcatties and skitties that can manage to become particularly famous thanks to their masters, who run social media profiles dedicated to their pokémon, the consequential fame has led to some delcatties appearing on tv as guest stars.
In a survey conducted to identify the most pampered pokémon breed in the world, Delcatty ranked in the top ten, along with it's pre-evolution.
