A little something I’ve been secretly working on...
Whew, remixing this thing was a real workout! I tried a lot of new things for this remix, and while it sounds a bit different rendered than it does played straight from the DAW, it still sounds pretty great. I even spent half an hour jamming to it before I finally saved and rendered it! Please enjoy!
My grand baking venture didn’t go over so well, and eight consecutive hours of baking wasted most of my MAR10... AND, as one would expect, all that baking and the resulting failure drained me of any and all motivation to draw, so here’s a quick lil somethin’ to celebrate MAR10 and hopefully make up for my massive failure. Wowza, a remix! This is more or less a remake of my last remix of this song, and although I didn’t initially intend to post it, I liked it enough to wanna show it off. It was originally a test for my new chiptune plugins, but I thought it was good enough to post! I apologize if it seems a tad off or wonky, I’m quite sick today and I’m not exactly in my right mind. Have I mentioned how much I love this song, by chance? I figured that since I haven’t been remixing many songs as of late, I’d remix a tune from Wreck-It Ralph. I chose the main theme -- short, simple and sweet, and I think it came out pretty well!
The true spice of life is excessive portamento on chiptune samples.
